Welcome to the 2012 Music City Brew Off

We are continuing our efforts to make our competition the finest in the South East. This year's special guest speaker was Chad Yakobson from Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project.

This is a BJCP/AHA sanctioned competition

All 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from beer categories 1-23 will receive a medal and a gift certificate from Rebel Brewer ($15, $10, and $5 respectively). Best of Show will also receive a medal and a gift certificate of $150 from Rebel Brewer. 2nd and 3rd Best of Show will also receive medals and gift certificates ($75 for 2nd and $50 for 3rd). Best of Meads and Ciders will receive medals as well along with gift certificates from Rebel Brewer (1st- $30, 2nd- $15, 3rd- $10).

Also 'The Ed Tate Club Award' will be given to one of the participating clubs with a minimum of 10 entries. The Ed Tate Award represents a quality award based on 10 categories of involvement. The winning club will receive an engraved plaque and will also be engraved on a permanent plaque held by the Music City Brewers.

Following the awards will be our 4th annual "Club Crawl". This is basically the same as NHC club night with a few "tweaks". We will have the ballroom set up with tables where regional clubs can bring their beers to showcase. In addition, this year we are hoping to get the involvement of the local craft beer community in Nashville and surrounding cities. We are hoping to have a variety of local craft breweries serving their beer as well as having the regional clubs on hand. This was a blast last year, so hopefully the fun will continue. If you or your club would like to have a table, please use the contact form on our Membership page to make arrangements. Dinner on Saturday night will be on your own. There is a Bistro in the hotel and several restaurants that are very close.

We are accepting entries starting on October 12th. All entries must be at Rebel Brewer by 5 pm on October 19th (No exceptions).

Dinner

This year's dinner will be catered BBQ that promises to be very good. Homebrew will be served. Dinner reservations are now closed. Limited walk up dinner purchases will be taken on a first come first served basis the day of the event. Pay for the dinner with the following button - only $25.

3:00 - 6:00 PM: Afternoon judging session.
7:00 PM: Dinner and presentation with speaker TBA.

Saturday
8:30 AM: Judge and steward orientation.
9:00 - 12:00 AM: Morning judging session.
12:00: Lunch provided for judges and stewards.
2:00 - 4:00 PM: BOS judging session.
5:00 - 7:00 PM: Awards ceremony and raffle.
